Superstar Ajay Devgn is currently scaling new heights of success. His recent release, *Raid 2*, has proven to be a massive hit at the box office. Now, he has officially announced his upcoming comedy film, *Son of Sardaar 2*, and has also shared its latest poster.
With this, yet another sequel has been added to the list of Ajay’s upcoming films. However, you might be surprised to learn that it isn’t just *Son of Sardaar 2*; Ajay is set to create a sensation at the box office with upcoming installments of several other franchises as well.
Through filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s *De De Pyaar De*, Ajay Devgn achieved tremendous success, resonating strongly with both audiences and box office figures. The sequel to this film, *De De Pyaar De 2*, has already been officially announced. While the movie was originally scheduled for a May 1, 2025 release, it is now speculated that it may hit the big screen on November 14.
On Thursday, June 19, Ajay Devgn announced the release date for *Son of Sardaar*. This action-comedy film is set to be released in theaters worldwide on July 25. Notably, for *Son of Sardaar 2*, actress Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing the lead role, stepping in for Sonakshi Sinha.
*Drishyam 3*
Any discussion regarding the most brilliant films of Ajay Devgn’s career would be incomplete without mentioning the *Drishyam* franchise. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment of this excellent suspense thriller—*Drishyam Part 3*—which is expected to be released in theaters sometime next year, in 2026.
Ajay Devgn joined director Indra Kumar’s comedy franchise through the film *Total Dhamaal*. Recently, Ajay provided an update regarding the filming of *Dhamaal 4*. According to this update, the comedy film is set to make its debut on the big screen next year, coinciding with the occasion of Eid. Given the box office success of Ajay Devgn’s *Raid 2*—and the way the film’s climax unfolded—it is abundantly clear that the third installment of the *Raid* franchise, *Raid 3*, is poised to provide ample entertainment to audiences in the near future. Meanwhile, the fifth installment of director Rohit Shetty’s comedy franchise—*Golmaal 5*—has officially been confirmed. News recently surfaced that Ajay Devgn and his team have already commenced preparations for *Golmaal Part 5*. However, no details regarding its release date have been revealed yet.
Shaitaan 2
The sequel to *Shaitaan*—widely regarded as one of Bollywood’s finest supernatural horror thrillers—has also been a subject of much discussion for some time now. It is widely speculated that Ajay Devgn may also be seen starring in *Shaitaan 2* in the near future.
